The owners Yoshiki Goto and Yuka Goto were originally working in another industry. But they fell in love with New York wines and came back from New York to start the import business. They started this shop at the end of last year, hoping to provide a convenient place for Tokyoites to enjoy New York wines. The winemaking in New York dates to four hundred years ago. Around ten years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Goto started their business. It was the time when the new generation took over and more wineries started making high-quality wines in sustainable ways. The context and the lighter flavor compared with wines of the West Coast matched the needs today and became popular among new generations. New York wines are enjoyed in a laid-back style unlike the European style. You can enjoy the conversations and wines without thinking about the conventional rules. You can experience the real culture of New York in this shop.
