詩歌からアートブックまでこだわりの詰まった古書店
三鷹駅北口から10分ほど歩いた場所にある古書店・りんてん舎。店頭には、絵本から映画本、海外文学までさまざまな本が並んでおり、子どもから大人まで楽しめるラインナップだ。中でも詩集や短歌、俳句の書籍に特に力を入れており、昭和初期のものから最新作まで、棚一面に揃った蔵書は圧巻。もともと音楽が好きで、ギターやベースを弾いていたという店主の趣味から、店内にはジャズのレコードが流れ、CDや音楽関係の本の取り扱いも多い。美術への造詣も深く、アートブックも豊富に揃っている。自分が心からおすすめできる本を揃え、来る人に喜んでもらいたいと語る言葉の通り、一つひとつのセレクトに愛を感じられる。

From poems to art books this used bookstore takes pride in its selection of books.

The used bookstore Rintensha is ten-minute walk from the North Exit of Mitaka Station. They have various books for all generations including picture book, books about movies, and non-Japanese novels. They especially have wide varieties of books about poems, haiku, and tanka. The wall is filled by the books from 1920s as well as the latest ones. The owner is a long-time music fan and he used to play the guitars and bass. He plays the jazz vinyl in the store. The store carries lots of CDs and the books about music as well. He also is knowledgeable about visual arts, and they have plenty of art books. He says he wants to entertain the customers by having the books he can truly recommend. You can feel his soul in every single book here.
