アパレルショップと共同でショップを構えていた千駄ヶ谷より昨夏に移転し、独立店舗の花店としてスタート。赤堤通りに面したショップは、入り口の暖簾をくぐると床一面の花々が目に飛び込んできて、まるで花畑にいるような気分に。フローリストの山口香織さんによって厳選された花や植物はどこか油絵のような趣があり、鮮明な色に宿る陰影がロマンティックな世界を作り出す。印象的な花瓶での展示は、実際に家で飾るときの提案でもあり、その花々の組み合わせを気に入って購入する人も多い。生け込みの依頼や外での仕事が増え、週末メインの営業になったが、忙しい中でも店頭に立つのはやっぱり対面の接客が好きだから。可愛すぎないテイストも山口さんの得意分野で、男性客も多くリピーターやクチコミで訪れる人が後を絶たない。

Even a single flower creates elegance. The sophisticated florist creates arts.

VEIN originally shared a space in Sendagaya with a clothing store. It moved to the current location last summer and now it is a flower shop by itself. The shop is located along Akatsutsumi-dori Avenue. When you go through the curtains at the entrance, it is like a garden with flowers covering the floor inside. The flowers and plants sourced by the florist Kaori Yamaguchi are somewhat oil-painting-like and the shadows on the vivid colors make a romantic vibe. Interestingly, the flowers are displayed in vases. It works as a suggestion to the customers on how to display the flowers. In fact, many customers fall in love with the arrangements of the flowers and buy them together. She now gets lots of gigs such as arrangements and she open her shop mostly on weekends. Although she is busy, she likes meeting people in person and choose to work in the shop. Kaori is excellent with not-too-cute styles as well, which is why she also gets many male customers. The regulars keep coming back and new customers come after seeing good reviews, keeping this shop busy.
