「外観からは想像つかない、ディープな魅力を持つお店が軒を連ねるマニアックな街・板橋。中でも『板橋区立熱帯環境植物館』は、東南アジアへの旅気分を味わえる、手軽で身近なエスケープ・スポットとして訪れます」。熱帯雨林を再現した館内には、マングローブなど約700種類の熱帯植物が生育。地下のミニ水族館では色鮮やかな熱帯魚や、国内では珍しい淡水エイも展示している。「植物園のあとは、喫茶室『クレア』に行くのが楽しみ。温室に茂る熱帯植物を見ながら、おいしいと癒やしを同時に味わえます」

"Itabashi is an interesting town full of businesses with hidden charms you never expect from their look. Itabashi Tropical Environmental Plants Museum will get you out of Japan and take you to Southeast Asia." The exhibit simulated the jungles and around seven hundred species of tropical plants are grown, including mangrove. The "mini" aquarium on the basement exhibits the colorful tropical fish and the freshwater stingray fish, which is rare in Japan. "After visiting the Plants Museum, the cafe Crea is the perfect spot to enjoy food while relaxing and watching the tropical plants in the museum."
